Welcome to the Mattson Family Blog, otherwise known as Snapshot Colleyville. This is a major leap for an otherwise technology inept mom! However, given the fact that Gregg, Brynne, Lacey and even Jacob know considerably more then I do I will do my best to muddle through and when desperate ask for help.

This initial post will work backwards through the summer. And a busy one it was! It concluded as it has for many, many years with a trip to Breckenridge CO. Each year our plan is to leave the Texas heat, enjoy the cool Rocky Mountains and then return to a crisp fall. Each year our plan has failed miserably. Colleyville friends, Gregg sister and Gil, and the Larson family all dropped in for fantastic visits. We leave with anticipation of the new school year, and also regret that we have to leave to begin with.
